This is the second project we did for this homeowner.
Here you see the old porch cover...

And here you see the homeowner has taken it upon himself to dismantel the porch, leaving us with a clean wall to work with...

At the end of day one, we were able to have field drawings schetched and plan of attack.
Day two produced the reconstruction of the siding and installation of back pillars.

End of day three, you can see great progress with the front pillars up, anchored and the upper boxes built and installed. Also completed is the framing fo rthe upper framing which will support the new roof trusses whick will be installed the next work day.

As you can now see, we have the entire framework for the new entry completed. We cut into the existing siding to allow us to get a structural bond between the house and the new entry and have created an incredibly strong structure. Now it's time for the detail work of wraping everything with cedar (which stands up to weather conditions) putting on the roofing materials and taking care of details.

As you can see, the new entry is taking on a very distinct character and personality. 9.8.2006

When the homeowner has finished painting, we will post a final picture for your enjoyment and our pride!
