Please join is as we begin our next kitchen remodel in a home build in the 70's. This family of 7 is looking forward to some big changes: opening up some walls, adding bar top space, large pantries and a whole new look!

The dividing wall where the built in china closet used to be is not gone.

Electrical work will be done in a few days the dry wall will be done.

In the mean time, cabinets are in the garage awaiting installation!

8.4.2007

As you can see, the drywall has been repaired and old underlaymet has been removed in preparation for new hardwood flooring which is now in the final stage of being stained and finished.

New Hard wood floors have been installed, sanded, stained and finished.

Below you can see new pantry and base cabinets have been installed and ready for doors and final trim.

Monday 8.20.2007 the new cabinet doors will be begin to be installed replacing the

ones existing on the old cabinets as well as installed on the new cabinets.

Below you can see the custom built doors have been installed and

misc trim and shoe is now being installed to complete the new floor .

All new counters have been measured and ordered as well.

Okay, so some time has passed as we waited for the counters to be manufactured.

They are now installed as well as new sink, faucet and disposal

as well as a new gas cook top.

Here we have the new counter over the new low cabinets with overhang for bar stools.
