We now present a living room that the family really did not use much. What you see in this first picture is what used to be the kitchen many years ago, then a few years ago was switched and turned into the living room. The owners admittedly really never used the room as it just wasn't inviting and beyond their ability to turn it into what they envisioned.

Day 1 - demolition day...
Remove all the drywall and plaster/lathe to expose the framing so we can see what we have to work with and to clean up the old electrical system. It will also allow us to remove the old windows, reframe to close them up and install new framing for new windows.

Day 3 - framing...
In addition to new framing, windows, upgraded electrical system, reinsulated walls and leveled the old floor, we installed plumbing for energy efficient boiler style baseboard heating.

Having completed all the rough work, drywall was installed and finished, all walls / ceilings primed and painted, trim work installed a new floating floor was installed and finally the base heaters installed. No sooner did we complete the job, the homeowner was out buying new furnature and set up a Christmas tree for the first time in 5 years.
